With a charisma that could “sell ice to an Eskimo,” Bob built a business grounded in trust, adaptability, and putting customers first.

Joined by his right-hand partner, Mary Lou, who expertly managed the books while raising their four children—Robert Jr., Gregory, David, and Carolyn—Bob turned BBCS into a true family affair. From its early days as a pioneer in recycling large printer ribbons, BBCS evolved with the times, embracing new technologies and solutions to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers.

Bob’s philosophy was simple: prioritize the customer, always. That commitment has kept some of our very first clients with us to this day. Over the years, the family legacy grew stronger—Gregory joined in 1982, Robert Jr. in 1990, and Carolyn’s son Jake has been a key part of the team for over 20 years.
